Middle Ground:
- I’ll say some parts are predictable but done in such a way that you might have guessed a portion of what Maas has in store, but you’ll still end up surprised.

Overall Review (No spoilers):
GOD, does this book take a turn, and a freaking good one at that. I want to say so much but can’t because I don’t want to give any spoilers, but just know…when you get through that first book, you will be rewarded.
